Always Time for Chili

Under the shelter of a bridge, chili pots bubbled, music blasted and visitors sampled chili and other goodies Saturday, February 28, during the 10th annual Grand Central District Chili Cookoff at the corner of Central Avenue and 18th Street in St. Petersburg. Sheets of water poured off the sides of the bridge while bundled up foodies strolled among the tables voting on their favorite recipes. The event, which was a fundraiser for the Grand Central District Association, featured 23 different chilis.
