Equality

Soon, we’ll send a trolley full of supporters to PRIDE, and we do a fine job of patting ourselves on the back about how we do not discriminate. Yet we tend to ignore some of our mid-20th-century views about black people.

Requiem

Ultimately, Al Davis did effect change in Clam Bayou, although not to the degree he would have liked. He never got his dredging, but he did light a fire under the state and the city.
