Gulfport Neighborhood Center site manager Valerie Smith wants voters to know they can vote early at the Gulfport Neighborhood Center.

Early voting began in Florida on October 24, and there is an early voting location right in Gulfport at the Gulfport Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St. S. Registered voters can cast their ballot inside the building through November 6, Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A tent is set up behind the Neighborhood Center for mail ballot drop-offs.

“We want to get the word out about this early voting location,” said Valerie Smith, site manager from the Pinellas County elections office. “We set up signs at 49th St. and 22nd Ave. S. to let people know they can vote here.”

Pinellas voters can vote at any one of five early voting sites until November 6. For more information, and a list of other sites, visit the Supervisor of Elections website.
