Class Title: Veggie Gardening 101: Learn the Basics of Vegetable Gardening in Florida: A Four Part Series.

An event every month that begins at 7:30pm on day Second of the month, repeating until August 13, 2019
The class will be the second Tuesday of May, June, July and August from 7:30-8:30 pm. Class 1 starts with a tour of the Seaside Anderson Garden aka Sacred Lands at 6 followed by the class.
Class 1: May 14th: Selecting the site and garden bed options
Class 2: June 11th: Composting-soil composition
Class 3: July 9th: Seasons & varieties of seeds/starting seeds
Class 4: August 13th: Fertilizing options-pest management
All methods covered are sustainable and organic based on growing in Florida.
The class is offered through a collaboration of THE URBAN HARVEST AND SACRED LANDS. The Walking tour is led by DAVID ANDERSON OF DISCOVER FLORIDA TOURS.
Cost of Class: $50 FOR 4 ONE-HOUR CLASSES + 1.5 HR PRIVATE TOUR OF THE GROUNDS OR $15 PER CLASS (NO TOUR)
