Regenerative Gardening Topic at St. Pete Main Library

A free program titled “Regenerative Gardening” will be presented on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the St. Petersburg Main Library by Malory Foster, food systems specialist with the University of Florida IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program.
Regenerative agriculture describes farming and grazing practices that rebuild the soil, improve water retention, encourage biodiversity, and reduce atmospheric carbon. Malory Foster will give us tips on applying regenerative gardening practices in our home and community gardens.
