On March 15, Gulfport residents will cast their vote for either incumbent Sam Henderson or his opponent Barbara Banno for mayor; Ward 1 is also up for grabs with April Thanos challenging incumbant Dan Liedtke.

South Pasadena

Voters in South Pasadena will elect either incumbent Dan Calabria or challenger Max Elson for mayor.

As Max Elson is currently a city commisisoner, there will be a vacancy following the March 15 election, regardless of who wins. The length of the remaining term will be approximately one year; the city is seeking elegible candidates.

The appointment of the new commissioner is scheduled for the March 29 Regular Commission Meeting at 9 a.m. Interested candidates should contact the city clerk’s office at 727-347-4171 or in person at 7047 Sunset Drive South.
