Friday afternoon, December 12, people drifted over from Gulfport and Treasure Island to join the South Pasadena open house in city hall. A sax quintet played Christmas carols as Commissioner Gail Neidinger helped serve wine and city clerk Carley Lewis and her staff kept food tables filled. The city funded the event, although Valenty’s donated the wine, according to staff.
