100 Artists Brings Local Art to the People

December 4, 2014 by Cathy Salustri

This past weekend, Suntan Art Center’s 100 Artist Show in Horan Park showcased local Florida art. The 100 Artists show, closing out its third year, featured art ranging from small jewelry to large Tiki totems.

Ross Jones, who brought his taxidermic crustacean art from his Citrus Springs studio, enjoyed success as a first-year exhibitor.

“I paid all my expenses by noon,” Jones said Saturday morning. His work featured local blue crabs, Florida lobster, and other sea life preserved as wall art.

The next 100 Artist show will take place in February 2015.
