Armed Teens Arrested

On the morning of July 23, Gulfport police charged Joseph Bukowisky, 18, and a 15-year-old male with grand theft auto, armed residential burglary, and grand theft after they were caught breaking into a shed while armed with a knife.

Burglary tools were also found on the suspects upon arrest.

The stolen vehicle was found on the 5300 block of 17th Ave. S. The vehicle is believed to have originated on the 2900 block of 56th Ave. S.

The investigation is ongoing and police believe that other teenagers were involved in the burglary.

The individuals arrested are also believed to be involved in other local burglaries.

Bukowisky is being held on $157,000 bond, while his accomplice was taken to a juvenile facility.
