The Boca Ciega High School homecoming parade on October 21 featured the school’s marching band, JROTC cadets, football players and the homecoming court, and began at the Gulfport Recreation Center, then headed down Beach Blvd. to the library and back … Pumpkin pancakes and other new specialty items are on the menu at Stella’s with the addition of Chef Olive of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fame … The owners of the Boca Bay Grille, at 2834 Beach Blvd. S., opened their doors for a ghoulish good time on Halloween with bar bites and drink specials in advance of their soft opening this week … Gulfport Yoga reopened for classes November 4 at 2838 Beach Blvd. S. in the old Shiva Dharma building …The Twin Brooks golf course and driving range will open to the public on Friday, November 6 at 7 a.m. … The Gulfport Public Library celebrated Teen Read Week 2015 with a party featuring book giveaways, contest, prizes and food hosted by Stetson Law School … Tiny ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheroes made an appearance at the Spooktacular Halloween Bash at the Gulfport Recreation Center on Halloween evening … No reopening date scheduled yet for Backfin Blue Café. Stay tuned! … Seen on a t-shirt: A yawn is a silent scream for coffee.
