Pinellas County has issued mandatory evacuations for evacuation zone A and residential healthcare facilities (nursing homes and ALFs), effective immediately. Zones B and C must evacuate effective 7 a.m. tomorrow (Sept. 27).

Gulfport Mayor Sam Henderson issued an update on Gulfport closures, where residents and businesses can get sandbags, and what the City’s done to ready its storm sewers. The City also has information about trash pickup in advance of Ian and how residents in need to get a ride to a safe location.

Pinellas County has issued a voluntary evacuation for everyone in Flood Zone A. That flood zone includes everything on the beaches, parts of St. Pete, much of South Pasadena, and some of Gulfport. This evacuation is not mandatory.
