From the land, you couldn’t tell, but Cary Nell and her crew were elves in flamingo’s clothing. The Gulfport boat parade, which left Boca Ciega Yacht Club around 6 p.m. on Saturday, included MeeShee, a 34-foot Catalina, bedazzled with what Nell called “Deermingoes” – flamingoes dressed like reindeer. The crew wore flamingo hats to complete the theme.
