Elections On St. Pete Beach

On March 11, 2014, all St. Pete Beach voters will choose a mayor and two districts will choose commissioners. The following six residents have thrown their names in the ring for public office:

Mayor
Steve McFarlin (incumbent)
Maria Lowe (Historic Preservation board member)

District One Commissioner
Lorraine Huhn (incumbent)
Dr. Terri Finnerty (wife of former Mayor Mike Finnerty)

District Three Commissioner
Incumbent Marvin Shavlan will step down, leaving the seat open for a newcomer.
Gregory Premer (former President of Belle Vista Civic Association; Recreation board member)
James Anderson (currently suing St. Pete Beach over comprehensive plan-related issues)
