Historic Roser Park Tour of Homes 2020
March 28 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm$15 – $20
This popular historic home tour includes six homes with varying architectural styles. Two of the homes have never been shown before and the Ronald McDonald House (west St Pete) will be the first stop! Walk to each home at your own pace, this is a self guided tour.
Part of the proceeds of this Tour will be contributed to Ronald McDonald House in celebration of their 40th year in our neighborhood.
Two local historians will also be on hand to offer free walking tours every few hours of the neighborhood’s award-winning Outdoor Museum, a series of plaques detailing the history of the area from Tocobaga Indian days through to its development in 1911 by Charles Roser (reputedly the progenitor of Nabisco’s Fig Newton recipe).
Tickets can be purchased for $15 at historicroserpark.org before March 28, or for $20 up to 3 p.m. on the day of the tour, when tickets will be sold at 702 8th Ave S. Free parking is available at the west Bayfront garage (726 7th Ave S, St. Petersburg). All of the homes on this tour are within a few blocks of the garage so walking is easy! A casual food truck will be onsite to give guests a chance to eat during the tour.
Roser Park is a locally and nationally registered historic district. Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association sponsors this event.
