Almost 200 people turned out Monday, September 7 for the annual Gulfport Lions Labor Day Fish Fry. There were ample supplies of all-you-could-eat fried pollack, homemade hushpuppies, coleslaw, baked beans and grits. Proceeds from the event are used for club projects to benefit the community, such as the Christmas toy program.
