Floridania Fest Brings Florida Ephemera to Gulfport

An estimated crowd of 2,000 attended the Floridania Fest held this past Saturday (May 21) at the Gulfport Casino. That’s according to event organizer Ken Breslauer.

The festival featured kitschy vintage Florida collectibles.

In this picture, he showcases a 1926 poster from the Norman Studios in Jacksonville. This studio, once as familiar as those in Hollywood, was known for filming Black actors.
