Rita Jane Iacino of Tampa talks with woodworker Jay McDougall of Minnesota about his art at the 43rd annual Art Festival Beth-El in St. Petersburg Saturday, January 30. The three-day exhibit and sale included painting, photography, mixed media, glass, sculpture, metal, wood, ceramics and jewelry. “I love this show, it’s one of my favorites in Tampa Bay,” said Iacino, who purchased a metal garden ornament and earrings. “It’s juried, so the quality is very good, with a very large collection of sculptural arts. I especially like the high school student room; I see some of the best art in the show there.” After seeing high school exhibit, she said she posted on Facebook page: “The future of the art world is secure.”
