On the morning of City of Gulfport’s Council meeting on Tuesday, June 21, the City sent out an email postponing the 6 p.m. meeting until Thursday, July 7.
The email cites COVID-19 safety precautions for the delayed date.
“We’re not going to have enough people on council,” said Lesley DeMuth, Gulfport city clerk.
According to the City charter, Sec. 23-32 – Quorum, “Three members of the board shall constitute a quorum.”
