Gulfport Library Moves To Scout Hall

February 19, 2015 by Lynn Taylor

Gulfport Library at Scout Hall
It’s business as usual – almost – as the Gulfport Library sets up shop at Scout Hall during library renovations.

The Gulfport Public Library temporarily moved to Scout Hall Monday while library renovations are underway. When the library reopens in approximately eight weeks, patrons will see new flooring, bathrooms, paint and computers. The children’s and teen area will be brand new with dedicated computers.

“We’re really excited about the changes coming to the library,” said Carol Parker.

In the meantime, visitors to Scout Hall can browse new fiction and non-fiction, check out and return books, pick up holds and use the computers. The children’s programs will continue.
