Woman Arrested for Improper Display of Firearm
Gulfport police officers made an arrest on Thursday, Oct. 24 on the 5400 block of Newton Ave. S.
The suspect, 65-year-old Barbara Galasso, was arrested for the improper display of a fire arm.
Galasso reportedly was in a verbal argument with a neighbor and raised her shirt to display the weapon in her waistband.
No shots were fired, but charges were sent to the state attorney’s office. The charge is a misdemeanor charge.
