Mother’s Day Tea at Library

May 15, 2014 by The Gabber

The Gulfport Library hosted a Mother’s Day tea in the reading garden Saturday. While moms (and dads) could snack on Danish pastries and cake, the library provided birdhouses for kids to decorate for their mothers. Here, Harper Clubb, 4, and Iola Peterson, 3, paint birdhouses to give as Mother’s Day gifts.

While Iola told the Gabber she planned to give the birdhouse to her grandmother, Harper viewed the gift more practically, explaining she was painting it “for birds” to use.
