A new coffee concept rooted in Vietnamese brewing traditions is headed to St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District.
Say Coffee House plans to open in March at 2414 Central Ave., the former home of the Crisp Waffle Company. Owner Haley Huynh also owns Sip Tea Boba in Pinellas Park.
Say Coffee House in St. Pete
The name “Say” translates to “obsessed” in Vietnamese.
Say Coffee House uses robusta beans, which have almost twice the caffeine of beans common in U.S. shops. The drinks balance that strength with sweetened condensed milk.
Beyond coffee, the menu will include ceremonial-grade matcha lattes and fruit teas made with green or black tea and tropical flavors. The shop will also offer pastries and croffles, a croissant-waffle hybrid pressed in a waffle iron.
