
Town Shores Shufflers played their second round of tournaments on Tuesday, January 20 and Friday, January 23, with singles on Tuesday and doubles on Friday.
The next and final round of tournaments for the season will be February 24 and 27 and is open to all Town Shores residents.
In the ladies singles, Sandy Adams bested Diane Dagenais to win the main event, while Cheryl Garron won the consolation over Klara Belkin. For the men, it was new recruit Steve Spears topping the field and Jim Greene to win the main event with Blair Libby squeaking by John Blazey to win the consolation.
For doubles matches on Friday, the team of Henri Derouin and John Blazey won the main event over the team of Sandy Adams and Roger Thompson. In the consolation, Patty O’Brien and partner Bob Pickup took care of team Cheryl Garron and Nelson Burchat for the win.
