On July 11, Ray Domingo secured the last of needed funds for his future Gulfport gecko statue. The 14-foot statue will watch over people from the west side of the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. The City granted Domingo $16,000 this May, and Domingo raised the rest in less than three months.
