It’s game over for Gecko Season ’22. Some in the crowd took the “Game Night” theme to heart, and many marched (we’re playing fast and loose with that word) in the Gecko Parade in full costume. Our hats are off to those of you who braved the summer heat in full regalia. See you next Gecko Season!
Gulfportians will celebrate its 22nd annual GeckoFest this Saturday, Sept. 3. Since its beginnings in 2001, this end-of-summer event has allowed crowds to rally around this area’s favorite reptile, dress in costumes, and celebrate what they love about Gulfport.
