After a 911 called said a man had a handgun inside the Gulfport McDonald’s, the man fled police first on a stolen bicycle and then on foot. He remains at large.
“It will be two years in September since this case was argued in front of her. Never in my life have I seen such a delay by an arbitrator,” said Ken Afienko, an attorney for the Fraternal Order of Police.
The Gulfport Police Department said the accident occurred near 54th Street South and 26th Avenue South when Bruce Plesser was run over while in the street. Police say they have not charged the driver. Plesser had a 0.234% blood alcohol content roughly four hours after the accident, police told The Gabber.
GPD said the neighbor discovered her neighbor’s body in the backyard near the backdoor and there were no preliminary indications of foul play or fatal injuries.
Gulfport police arrested Lee in July 2021 after he threw a CD and struck an officer outside of city hall. Lee had come to Gulfport City Hall because the CD, which was part of a public records request, was not working, according to police and court documents.
Gulfport Police say the man followed the teenager into a women’s restroom on Gulfport Beach.
Gulfport police still want to find the driver who hit a scooter on 21st Avenue South last week. The scooter driver has a broken nose and rib.
The alleged crypto theft remains under investigation, according to Gulfport Police Department Sergeant Thomas Woodman.
