The Gulfport Merchants Chamber has a few large holes to fill; three board members resigned this October, including the woman who organized the Art Walk and Fine Arts Festival. It’s unclear who will step in to fill their absence.
On Friday, October 2 the streets came alive again with music and color as the Gulfport Merchant Chamber’s First Friday Artwalk made its official comeback.
Carina Krehl, a featured artist at the October 2 Gulfport Artwork, draws on what she calls core values of radical gratitude, attitude, loyalty and process.
“All my paintings have a story to tell,” says Gulfport artist Jila Davoodi whose work will be featured in the return of the First Friday Art Walk on October 2.
