From one beach to another, here’s how Tampa Bay raised money for Hurricane Ian relief.
Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce
The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce rerouted future funds from the 2022 Taste of the Beaches to benefit The Islands of Sanibel Captiva Chamber. The islands suffered major damage from Hurricane Ian, including the islands’ only bridge back to the mainland.
Each year, one Tampa Bay charity receives a portion of the proceeds from Taste of the Beaches. 2022’s chosen organization, PARC Center for Disabilities, helps children and adults with developmental disabilities.
