Tim Dorsey “Storms” Into Gulfport

September 22, 2015 by Lynn Taylor

IMG_0392Author Tim Dorsey came to town for an author talk at the Gulfport Public Library on September 17.  Instead of a typical reading, Dorsey, who writes Florida-style crime fiction, opened up the floor for Q&As from the audience. Attendees asked the author about his writing methods, plots and his popular main character, anti-hero Serge Storms. Dorsey has written 18 novels featuring Serge with titles such as “Florida Roadkill” and “Triggerfish Twist.”

Barbara Pinn, pictured, who attended the event with her husband, Frank, said, “I love his books and read them all.”

Dorsey’s next novel will be available in January.
