Cailey Klasson, Master of Ceremonies and Children’s Librarian at the Gulfport Public Library, where Trivia Night is held monthly, reminds a record number of teams that the category is Vintage Video Games. A voice from the crowd yells, “We’re older than vintage,” indicating that first round questions relating to “Donkey Kong” and “The Legend of Zelda” made for a tough one. But competition started to heat up once Klasson moved onto questions about historical events that happened in January. Hosted by the library and offering light refreshments and prizes to the victors, after-hours Trivia Night is the last Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The next opportunity to flex that big brain is Tuesday, February 25, so the time to start recruiting a team is now.
