Volkswagens of all shapes, colors, sizes and ages invaded Pass-A-Grille in St. Pete Beach Saturday, October 3 for the annual VW Beach Bash. Organizer Amanda Trail said about 80 cars were on view at the event, now in its seventh year. Hundreds of visitors came to the venue on 9th Avenue to admire the cars, also known, among other things, as love bugs and hippie buses.
