Submit Your Event to The Gabber Newspaper!

Have an event coming up? Send The Gabber Newspaper your event details and we’ll help get the word out — for free! (Paid options available.) This form is the only way to get your events listed in our online calendar or in the print edition of the paper.

The Gabber Newspaper publishes events weekly in our print edition, published every Thursday. We also add events on a rolling basis to our website at thegabber.com/events. Submitting your event here is not a guarantee it will get added to our calendar, but we do try and include as many as we can online.

If you’re submitting your event for print, we must receive it at least 10 days before the issue date in which it should appear. You may also pay for inclusion (if you’re past the deadline for print, this may be the only way to get your event included in print), and upgrade to have us feature your event on our social media channels.

Q: What’s the cutoff time for events getting included in the print version of The Gabber Newspaper?

A: The cutoff time for event submission is 10 days before the issue date in which you want your event to appear. For example: Let’s assume the issue comes out on Jan. 10. If your event is Jan. 16, you should submit it 10 days before the issue date of Jan. 10: Jan. 1.

Q: How much does it cost to guarantee my event gets in the print edition?

A: $25. There’s an option later in this form to let us know you’d like to do this. We will send you an invoice; look for an email from invoicing@messaging.squareup.com. You will need to pay the invoice by the Friday before the issue date.

Q: How much does it cost to have The Gabber Newspaper feature my event on its social media channels?

Q: Can I submit a photo of my event?

A: Unfortunately, we do not accept photos for event submissions. There are too many concerns with copyrights and permissions, and our lawyer says we shouldn’t do this anymore.
