Mama’s Essentials has opened a wellness studio and apothecary at 2663 1/2 Dartmouth Ave. N. in St. Petersburg. It offers appointment-only services focused on herbal medicine and whole-body health. Space is also available for hourly rental to other practitioners.
Health and wellness specialist Tricia Streit Perez owns the studio. Perez brings a personal perspective to her work. She guided herself into remission from Graves’ Disease and Graves’ Eye Disease through lifestyle changes. That experience led her to develop herbal products that supported her own healing and that of her family.

Her work focuses on the gut microbiome and how food choices affect almost every system in the body. The approach emphasizes education and long-term lifestyle shifts, rather than quick fixes.
In addition to her own business, Perez serves as director at Traditions School of Herbal Studies in St. Petersburg, where she completed her training in clinical western herbalism.
She launched Mama’s Essentials in 2021 by selling products online and at local markets.
